It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul E. Whisenand of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Roscoe and Daisy Maude Whisenand (McCain); his wife Merlene Meldrem; his son Charles Whisenand; and his parents-in-law, Donald, June Whisenand, Issac "Jack" Whisenand, Sylvia Whisenand, Helen Whisenand, Lois, Ralph Ogan, Jr., Duane Phillips, Zadie, Richard Ross, Claire, Alene Meldrem, Lyle Meldrem, Norma, Harold Duffus, James, Betty Meldrem and Marlyn Meldrem.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherill Whisenand of Des Moines and Mary Whisenand of Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Kelley Fire Department, Trinity United Methodist Church, or the Israel Family Hospice House.
