She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Muessigmann and Muriel Muessigmann (Abbas); and her son Trenton Dakin. She is survived by: her sons, Brent of Madison and Travis Dakin (Becky) of Stratford, Iowa; her husband Jerry Dakin of Ames, Iowa; her grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, Avery Dakin of Madison, Wisconsin, Ben McDaniel and Carlos Dakin of Stratford, Iowa; her sisters, Pam Harkema (Steve) of Hampton and Penney Wilson (Brent) of Ankeny, Iowa; and also, Craig Harkema (Heather), Alexis of Hampton, Iowa, Chad Harkema (Jamie), Easton, Oakley of Mason City, Iowa, Chloe Wilson-Khanjani (Kian) of Chicago, Illinois, Quinn Wilson of Boston and Eli Wilson.
