On Kiojai Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of On Kiojai (Ames, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though On has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Khio Vanhkham and Nam Bounphanh; her children, Bounuck Kiojai and Sudala Kiojai; and her sister Khamdy Vanhkham.

She is survived by: her husband Kheung Kiojai; her children, Sengchanh Kiojai, Sensak Kiojai and Khamsai Kiojai (Erin); and her granddaughters, Vayda Kiojai and Myra Kiojai. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stevens Memorial Chapel (607 28th St, Ames, IA 50010). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
