He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar McMasters and Evelyn McMasters (Cole); and his siblings, Robert, Donald and Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Lee Alan of Ames; his children, Bryan (Dona) of Ames and Jaye Pleake (Ken) of Huxley; his grandchildren, Dylan McMasters of Santa Cruz, CA, Conner McMasters of Ames and Lyndsay Uitermarkt (Jesse) of Urbandale; and his great grandchildren, Kenny, Sophia and Ethan.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
