He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Nilva Jean Henderson, Marvin and Della Kennedy; his uncle William O. Henderson; and his great-grandparents, Mabel Klein and Pearl Knight.
He is survived by: his parents, David Kennedy and Ann Kennedy (Henderson) of Stanhope; his wife Heidi Radden of Boone; his daughters, Mykah Peterson (Tristan) of Davenport and Ravyn Kennedy (Trevor Goulding) of Webster City; the parent of his children Robin Ubben-Harms of Duncombe; his son Samuel Farnham of St. Paul, MN; his stepdaughter Sara Peterson of Ames; his brother Mark Kennedy of Webster City; his nephew Steven; his niece Elizabeth Kennedy; and his pet Roger.
Memorials may be given to the family to start a fund with the Story County Sheriff's Office in Mikes honor for those officers that need assistance with mental health.
