Michael Erwin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2020, at the age of 75, Michael Erwin of Ames, Iowa, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Erwin and Caroline Erwin (Prochaska); his uncle Milo (Mike); and his aunt LaVonne (Bones). He is survived by: his wife Carrie; his children, Meghan Gunn (James), Heidi Erwin-Keopp, Eric Burlingame (Darci) and Khara Safranek (Josh Meserly); his siblings, Robert Erwin (Nancy) and Peg Erwin (Gayle Vincent); and his mother-in-law Lory Cramm. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
