With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melanie Ann Lee (Ames, Iowa), who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cottrill and Phyllis Cottrill. She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Marie Lee (Gary); her siblings, Linda Fullerton of Nevada, David Cottrill (Pat) of Ames, Jeff Cottrill (Pam) of St. Paul and Christopher Cottrill of Boone, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Cythina Marlatt-Bivens (Dan), Sarah Grady (Brian), Christopher Marlatt (Jenny) and Tabitha Lee; and her great grandchildren, Holland, LeeAnn, Annabelle, Norah, Dean, Wayne, Lilly and Edward. She is also survived by the many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
