He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Tweed and Bernice Tweed (Field); and his sister Syvilla Bolson (Tweed). He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Dowling (Ed) of Lincoln, IL, Cheryl Stolmeier (Steve) of Ames, IA and Kolleen Sogard (Dave) of Edina, MN; his grandchildren, Sara Stolmeier (AJ Johnson), Emily Halbur (Jake), Matthew Stolmeier (Jessie), Amy Petersen (Devin), Jennifer Widmer (Greg), Julie Dowling, Kelly Holzerland (Charles), Jonathan Sogard (Mariana), Anna Miller (Nick), Kyle Sogard (Mimi Danicic) and Joseph Sogard; his great grandchildren, Laney, Devin Johnson, Christopher, William, Michael Halbur, Mia, Zoe Stolmeier, Violet Branca, Nora Petersen, Abigail, Kate Widmer, Grayson, Grant Holzerland, Peter Sogard, Liv and Miller; his brothers, Gerald Tweed and Kerry Tweed (Ramona); and his wife Violet Ann Dymbe.
The church requires facemasks be worn and social distancing be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.
