She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Engel and Elsie Engel (Becker); her husband Dean; and her sister Mary Jane. She is survived by: her children, Dee Ruggeri (Chris), Kim Cross (Bernie Schmidt), Greg Spurgeon and Jane Spurgeon (Dave Koopmann); her grandchildren, Christopher (Charita), Ashley, Shannon (Jesse), Mackenzie and Tia; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Harper, Cayden, Addison and Jaxon; and her sisters, Nadine, Freida and Mabel.
