He was predeceased by: his daughter Miss Robbie Sue Gregory of Raleigh, NC; his parents, Maurice J. Gregory and Robyn Jones Gregory; his sister Anna Lois Kuykendell; and his brother-in-law Lloyd Kuykendell of Yorkville, TN..
He is survived by: his wife Ellen McLeary Gregory; his sons, Dr. Randall J Gregory (Liz) of Winston-Salem, NC and Lewis Gregory (Aixa) of Fraser, CO.; his grandchildren, Steven Tyler Gregory of Ames, IA, Michael Ryan Gregory of Winston-Salem, NC, Jake Thomas Gregory of Atlanta, GA and Madeline Louise Gregory of San Francisco, CA; his nieces, Roseanne Spain (Don) of Knoxville, TN and Kathy Vaughan (Gere) of Hendersonville, TN; and his close friend Gayle Miller. He is also survived by family members and friends.
