In loving memory of Mariam Robbins (Ames, Iowa), who departed this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Mariam leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Faith A. Kennedy; her sister Elizabeth Dewey; her brother-in-law Ronald Dewey; and her parents, Minnie Alzora and Charles Bodady.
She is survived by: her husband James C. Robbins; her children, Roger Bockoven, Hope Arthur (Rick), Jim Robbins (Sara) and Tom Robbins; her grandchildren, Toni Primack (Ross), Joy Kennedy, Nicholas Kennedy, Stayci Bockoven, Trayci Bockoven, Travis Bockoven (Jessica), Adam Arthur (Rachel), Alex Arthur (Chelsea), Jenna Robbins, Austin Arthur and Jake Robbins; and her siblings, Tumi Breeden (Bobby) and Allen Bodady. She is also survived by great-grandmother to her 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home & Cremation Service (502 Douglas Ave, Ames, IA 50010). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ames Municipal Cemetery (310 E 9th St, Ames, IA 50010).
