Margaret Ann Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2021, at the age of 95, Margaret Ann Smith of Ames, Iowa, born in Georgetown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Winters and Melba Winters (Shepler); her husband Dwight Smith; her sister Ruth; her brother-in-law Don Naudzius; her brother Jimmie Winters; her brothers-in-law, Dean Smith, Donald Smith and Dale Smith; and her grandchildren, Shawn Smith and Brenda Mayberry.

She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Mayberry (David) of Elm Grove, WI, Rebecca Witten (Larry) of Peoria, AZ, Bruce Smith, West and Melba Olson (David Smith) of Ames, IA. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret Ann's name may be directed to Suncrest Hospice or Windsor Manor, where she received excellent care.
