He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Anderson and Anna Anderson; his wives, Louise Raber and Rosemary Carpenter; his siblings, Clarence, Thomas, Lee and Ernest; and his stepson Phil.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Nancy Allen (Jim) of Kansas. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
