She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Head and Barbara Head; her husband John Sletten; and her son-in-law Don Rollins. She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Sletten of Johnston, Margit Ross (Doug) of Johnston and Lise McKillop (Jim) of Ames; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ross of Minneapolis, MN, Brian Ross of Madison, WI, Sarah Ross of Chicago, IL, Hannah and Halley Rollins of Ames; and her sister Barbara Dewey of Owatonna, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Bethesda Lutheran Church.

“To Sletten Family, It was a shock to learn of Liz’s passing since we had talked with her by phone recently. We know she was having health difficulties that caused her much pain. However, her spirit was high and her conversation was always positive and pleasant. Being longtime friends of her and John, recent neighbors, and traveling ‘buddies’, we will miss her dearly but always will keep her in our thoughts and hearts. She is now at peace and with her love, John. Cecilia and Jack Horner”
