We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2021, at the age of 86, Kermit Dirks (Ames, Iowa), born in Anamosa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, LeRoy Dirks and Maurine Dirks (Stingley); his wife Gertrude "Trudy" Ludden; his children, Bill (Tammy), Terri Hillers (Leon) and Kathy Gilchrist Simpson (Paul); his grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, Andrew Hillers, Brian, Scott, Katie Dirks, Kylie and Ian Gilchrist; and his brothers, Keith Dirks, Brad Dirks and Will Dirks.
In lieu of flowers, Kermit's family is requesting donations be made to the Family of Kermit Dirks, c/o Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way Ames, Iowa 50010.
