She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Shoen and Della Shoen (Dalin). She is survived by: her husband Howard (Howie) of Ames; her children, Brian Marsh of Ames and Lori Stratton (Scott) of Ankeny; and her brother Ernie Shoen (Judy) of Cambridge. She is also survived by her grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
Kay was overcome by the ravages of Alzheimer's Disease.
