John R. McCully Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. McCully of Ames, Iowa, born in Louisville, Mississippi, who passed away on June 25, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond McCully and Gertrude McCully (Warner); his wife Ruth; his children, Joy Burianek (Mark), Suzanne Ignaszak (Robert) and John David McCully (Tom Marchesiello); his grandchildren, Christine, Anthony, Paul, Rachel Burianek, David, Victoria Ignaszak, Steve (Lisa) and Tim Burianek; his sister Jackie McCully Lee Miller; and also, Karen and Terry Burianek.
Due to concerns of COVID-19, the family will not be present during the visitation and social distancing and use of facemasks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Saint Cecilia-Hispanic Ministry Fund, Catholic Charities of Dubuque, or the American Cancer Society.
