He was predeceased by: his parent Othelia Amanda Cleasby (Swanson); his wife Donna Jean Haugh; his father Clarence Cleasby; his daughter Teresa Ochiltree; and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Cleasby, James Honnold and Charles Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Cleasby (Kathryn) and Lynne Miller (Brian); his siblings, James, Rita and Patricia; and his grandchildren, Sean Miller (Christina), Craig, Troy Miller, Jeffrey Fitch (Tonya), Christopher Fitch (Stephanie), Nicole Maher (Nathan) and Danielle Priebe (Joshua).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Youth & Shelter Services in Ames or the First Baptist Church of Ames.
