Jerry Rogers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Rogers in Ames, Iowa, born in Griswold, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Rogers to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford A. Rogers and Florence J. Rogers (Templeton); his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Richard Russell; and his brothers, Teddy, George and Harley.

He is survived by: his wife Mattie Parker; his children, Mark Rogers (Marabeth) of Seattle, WA., Jody Rogers (Laura) of Conway, AR. and Susan Stenseth (Jess) of Rice Lake, WI; his grandchildren, Bret Rogers, Parker, Peyton Rogers, Zoe, Gavin and Veda Stenseth; his brother Jimmy Rogers of Story City, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Rogers and Janet Rogers of Robertsville, MO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Heartland Baptist Church Missions in Jerry's name.
