She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schacht and Lucille Schacht; her husband Richard Olsen; her sister Martha Scudamore; her brother-in-law David Rislove; and her great-nephew Brady Kragenbring.

She is survived by: her sisters, Susan Rislove and Nancy Schacht; and her close friend Mark Mehl. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews; 15 great niece and nephews; six great-great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society of Iowa.
