It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Bortz of Ames, Iowa, born in Bethesda, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keenan "Dick" and Helen Shepherd (Price); her brother Tommy; and her former husband Walt. She is survived by: her husband Walter; her daughters, Elaine (David), Diane and Cheryl; her grandchildren, Savannah, Jacob and Julian; and her brother Reverend William (Alice).
