We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2024, at the age of 93, Janet Rose Shoenhair in Ames, Iowa, born in Milford, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvis Shillington and Elma Shillington (Stapley); her son David William; her husband Dick Shoenhair; her brother Don Shillington (Marjorie); her son-in-law Wayne St Clair; her parents-in-law, John and Ethyl Shoenhair; and her brothers-in-law, John Shoenhair (Dorothea) and Robert Shoenhair (Ruth).
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen Power (Jim), Sue Daker (Robert Vittengl), Nancy St Clair and Carol Scharff; her grandchildren, Patricia Veale (Trish), Lauren Wise, Jessica Meier (Lucas), Robert Power (Molly), Brian Daker (Dawn), Michael Scharff and Sarah Daker; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Cora, Remi, Aubrey, Ava, Blythe, Jettson and Asher; and her cousin Marigold. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Janet made several hundred masks for family, friends, and charity organizations during the COVID epidemic.
