She is survived by: her husband James Esterly of Ames; her children, Jill Jayne (Tom) of Iron Mountain, Eric Esterly (Andrea) and Jane Esterly-Rettig (Chris) of Ames; her brother John Schroeder of Dell Rapids; and her grandchildren, Lily Rettig, Autumn Rettig, Max Jayne, Alex Jayne, Norah Esterly and Clara Esterly.
