Jan Walter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2020, at the age of 82, Jan Walter of Ames, Iowa, born in Carpenter, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jan Walter to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Archie Gordon and Iva Gordon (Finch); her daughters, Jan and Allyson Walter (David Sprague); her stepgrandchildren, Samantha Wilson (Daxton) and Jacob Sprague; her sister Shirley Shetka; her husband Marv Walter; and her brother Chuck Gordon. She was also cherished by three grandsons.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions the family has chosen a private family service will be Saturday, November 28, 2020.
The family is asking for memorials to be made to the Story County 4-H Foundation in her honor.
