He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Dubert and Margaret Garvey Dubert; and his siblings, Mary, Jane and John.
He is survived by: his siblings, Monica Kilgore (Michael) of Dubuque, IA, Madge Dubert of Cuba City, WI, Kathleen Lenaghan (Andrew) of Davenport, IA, Thomas Dubert (Carrie) of Boise, ID and David Dubert (Lynne) of Ogden, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (2210 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA 50010). A vigil service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
