It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dewey Myers (Ames, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Myers and Delia Myers (Van Vliet); and his siblings, Joe Myers (Dimity), Rita Wagner, Paul Myers (Elaine) and Dick Myers.

He is survived by: his wife Loraine Shea; his children, Randy Myers of Ames, Ed Myers (Maribel) of Biloxi, MS and Lisa Surber (Joe) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, Katharine Surber and Daniel Myers; his sister Elaine Sanborn (Jim); and his brother-in-law Bob Wagner.
