She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion McClure and Margaret McClure (McKenna); her former husband Paul Sydnes; her husband Eugene Christenson; and her brother Charles McClure.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Sorenson (Brian) of Ames, Steve Sydnes (Karen) of Ankeny, Karen Andersen (Todd) of Ames, Michelle Ralls (Randy) of Branson, MO. and David Christenson (Barb) of Anoka, MN.; her in-laws, Sandra, Garry Wirtz, Gary Thompson and Connie Johnson; and also Earl McClure of Ankeny. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ames Animal Shelter.
