With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold O'Larry Dorr (Ames, Iowa), born in Belmond, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Dorr and Wilma Dorr (Glade); his brother Jerome Dorr; his in-laws, Irvin and Clarice Solberg; and his sister-in-law Paddy Solberg.
He is survived by: his wife Lilith Dorr (Solberg); his children, Scott Dorr (Heidi) of Lone Tree, Colorado, Michelle Carris (Randy) of Anamosa, IA, Shawn Krenz (Mike) of Roscoe, Illinois and Samantha Goodman of Shawnee, Kansas; his grandchildren, Devonny Goodman, Brenna Goodman, Jackson Dorr, Sophie Dorr, Emma Krenz, Zachary Krenz, Stella Goodman and Wesley Goodman; his brother Robert Dorr (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Dorr and Linus Solberg; and his nieces and nephews, Mark Dorr (Ruth), Sean Solberg (Julie), Stephanie Ross and Penny Davids (Solberg).
