We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2022, at the age of 96, Gloria Carpenter of Ames, Iowa, born in Collins, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin Leslie and Sarah Mabel Smith (Gilley); her husband Neil Adrian Carpenter; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Carpenter. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Carpenter of Portage, WI, Geoffrey Carpenter of Am and Tracy Carpenter (Cindy) of Roland; her grandchildren, Sarah Carpenter, Jeremy Carpenter, Daniel Carpenter, Ian Carpenter (Kayleigh), Logan Carpenter (Haley), Lucas Carpenter and Heather Upton; and her great grandchildren, Finnley Carpenter, Dayton Carpenter and Daniel Carpenter Jr..
