He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thomas; his children, Robin Sullivan (Terry) of Ames and Larry Petrus of Ames; his grandchildren, Stephanie Hinderaker, Kristin Gibson, Christine Baierlipp, Nicole Krauel, Lisa Oxley, John Sullivan and Megan Sullivan; and his brothers, Dale Petrus (Sue) of Bend, OR and Gary Petrus (Margo) of Des Moines, IA.. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
