She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Millang and Myrtle Millang (Thompson); her husband Norman Howerton; and her siblings, Bev, Marvin, Don, Louise and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Deb Borwick, Mark Howerton (Diane), Rick Howerton (Dawn) and Randy Howerton; and her sister Ruth Charlson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
