He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Wierson; his grandparents, Ansel, Stella Bolt of Story City and Jack Wierson; his great-grandparents, John and Cecilia Wierson; and his cousin DJ Abogunrin.
He is survived by: his father Ron Wierson; his brother Matthew Wierson of Ames; his nephews, Everett and Shane Wierson of Ames; his half-sister Cherish Miller (Larry) of Afton; his aunts, Joyce Knol-Digby (David Digby) of Ames, Ruth Johnson (Gene Wirtjes) of Herrin, Illinois and Sally Heer (John) of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and his uncle Paul Wierson of Story City.
Memorials may be given to the Ames History Museum or the First Christian Church.
