Elizabeth Haviland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Haviland in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathrena Williams Bauer and Paul Sherman Bauer; her stepmother Winifred Hamilton; her husband Rev. Douglas Haviland; her son Timothy; and her brothers, Paul and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Susan, Bruce (Glenda Kirk), Andrew (Patricia), Margaret, David (Elizabeth Almgren), Sweden, Stephen (Curtis Ma) and Mark (Jackie); her siblings, Karen Mitchell and Ralph Bauer; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah, Ethan, Linnéa, Vendela, Sophia and Adrienne.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a private funeral service held at 10:30 A. M. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Ames.
