She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Compton and Dorthy Compton (Neubert). She is survived by: her husband Dennis Starleaf; her children, Katrina Anderson (Michael) of Boone, IA and Christopher Starleaf of Kelley, IA; and her brothers, Randy Compton (Sharon) of Knoxville, TN, David Compton (Becky) of Eagle and Nolan Compton (DeeAnna) of Soldotna, Alaska.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home & Cremation Service (502 Douglas Ave, Ames, IA 50010).
