It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas K. Livy (Ames, Iowa), born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas K. Livy and Nora Livy (Neafie); his brother Dan Livy; and his sister-in-law Dori Livy. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Livy of Ames; his brother John; his siblings-in-law, Dar Livy of Dawsonville, GA, Maralyn Burkhart of Fort Madison, IA, Bill and Ruth Calderwood of Traer, IA; his stepsister Kate Harper of Mullett Lake, MI; and his cousins, Maggie Hunt of Divide, CO and Mary W. Shelly of Bloomfield Hills, MI. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Due to federal and state guidelines for COVID-19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
