She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Schnormeier of Hubbard, IA.; her siblings, Ethel Burnett and Glen Franklin Stevenson; and her grandson Todd Gilleland. She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Schnormeier of Ames and Alan Schnormeier (Nancy) of Bellevue, NE; her grandsons, Blake Fry-Schnormeier (Bailey) of Creston, IA and Jason Gilleland of Creston, IA; her great grandchildren, Austin Nguyen Schnormeier, Leona Fry-Schnormeier, Alexa, Hunter, Macie and Brooklyn Gilleland; her great great grandchild Mason Spring; and her sister Mary Boston of Bluffton, SC.
A memorial service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church (1416 20th St, Ames, IA 50010).
