With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Robert Payer (Ames, Iowa), born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on April 3, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy L. Payer and Catherine Payer (Sullivan); his sister Patty Rua; his son-in-law Gary Hunziker; and his nephew Steve Ernest.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Supernois; his children, Christine Hunziker (Payer) of Ames, IA and Patrick Payer (Rhonda) of Pine, CO; his grandchildren, Megan Hunziker Mulvihill (Joe) of Overland Park, KS, Andrew Hunziker (Kelsey) of Ames, IA, Brandon Payer and Carson Payer of Pine, CO.; his great grandchildren, Addison, Mason Mulvilhill, Aubrey and Hayden Hunziker; his niece Cay Sills; and his nephew John Ernest.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Story County Boys and Girls Club, The Matthew 25 House, Ames, IA. or St. John's Episcopal Church, Ames IA.
