He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Owings and Mary Owings (Eble); his son Brian; his wife Ellen Owings; his daughter Megan Schici; his grandson Connor; his daughter Maura Mendus (Nate); his grandchildren, Eleanor and Graden; his great grandchild Brian Owings; his siblings, Pam Robison (David), Marilyn Olson (Tom), Jerry Owings and Mike Owings; and his pet Dora. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
