It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah A. Turner (Ames, Iowa), born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Turner and Maybelle Turner (Farley); and her siblings, Leroy Dunn, Raymond Dunn, Lavern Turner, Clarence Turner, Delores Macer (Dunn) and Darlene Hill (Turner).
She is survived by: her husband David Connolly; her children, Danielle Hill and Daniyel Turner; and her nieces and nephews, Dawn Macer, Deanne Hodge (Macer), Deniece Dunn, Ronnie Dunn and Sterling Macer, Jr..
She received her Bachelor of Science before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Iowa, participating in the American Cancer Society's Fellowship Program, and receiving her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School.
