He was predeceased by: his parents, Stacey James and Betty Ann Birdwell Mott; his grandparents, John Robert of Cookeville, TN., Mary Louisa Sullivan Mott of Cookeville, TN., Hollie Freelan of Cookeville, TN. and Geneva Ravene McGlasson Birdwell of Cookeville, TN.; and also Mary Baux.
He is survived by: his significant other Lori Baux of Attica, IA; his siblings, Jim Mott (Deb) of Waterville, NY, Betsy Mott Galliher (Lee) of Bristol, TN and Melinda Mott Leftwich (Stewart) of Cookeville, TN.; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Mott (Alejandra Del Toro), Sarah Newton (Chris), Aaron Mott (Lizy Latiff), Pearce Galliher, Katie Mott, Libby Leftwich (Alex Holcomb), Luke Leftwich, David Leftwich, David Steen (Saira), Ryan Steen (Angie) and Melissa Steen (Alison); and also, DC of Washington, Maxine and Stella. He is also survived by 7 great-nieces and great-nephews.
