With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dallas L. Kibbe of Ames, Iowa, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 10, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace L. Kibbe and Marie Louise Kibbe (Salling); his wife Rebecca Ann Peterson; and his brother Johannes "Jan" Kibbe. He is survived by: his children, Robert Kibbe (Laura) of Ames, Jennifer Kittrell (Chad) of Cedar Rapids and April Brown (Mark) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Emily, Dallas, Noelle, Audrey and Rowan-Michael; his sister-in-law Sharon Kibbe of Topeka, Kansas; his brother Wallace; his sister-in-law Freda Proctor of Kansas City, Kansas; his nephews, Nicholas Proctor (Stephanie), Peter Proctor (Jennifer), Jon Proctor (Bridget), Craig Kibbe (Shelby) and Chad Kibbe; and his niece Janelle Cruz (Sal).
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research.
