Dale Edward Messenger Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dale Edward Messenger (Ames, Iowa), born in Moorhead, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Franklin Lloyd and Ruth Merle Messenger (Perkins); his wife Donna Messenger; his sons, Richard, LeRoy (Sheryl), Keith (Peanut) and Douglas (Dee); his grandchildren, Tamar McCunniff (Jesse), David (Colleen), Michael (Kristina), Matthew (Margaret), Ryan, Cooper (Kelsey) and Carson (Hannah); and his brothers, Dwight Messenger (Pat) and Donald. He was also cherished by 18 great grandchildren.

Due to COVID19 restrictions, the family has chosen to hold a private family gathering.

Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church in Ames.
