Curtiss LeRoy Ostrem Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 96, Curtiss LeRoy Ostrem of Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Ostrem and Julia Ostrem (Severeide); his wife Jeanne Rhoades; his daughter Julia Ruth; and his brothers, Bob and Dick.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Elizabeth Bartello (John) of Newton, Mark Admiral Ostrem of Des Moines and Dawn Elizabeth Thrams (Jon) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Benjamin, John, Thomas, Matthew and Courtney; and his great grandchildren, Dylan of Eden, J. J. and Jamison Marie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Story City American Legion, Immanuel Lutheran Church or Wesley Life Hospice.
