We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2025, at the age of 102, Claire Eugene Steelman of Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Story and Hardin; his wife Anna "Ann" Mae Robertson; his daughter Kim Janiece; his siblings, Vivian Cypra and Lloyd Steelman; his sister-in-law Klara Steelman; and his son-in-law Robert Churchill.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Churchill, Doug Steelman (Joyce), Roger Steelman (Nancy), Marti Steelman and Patti Steelman. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Salem Church (301 E Chestnut St, Hubbard, IA 50122). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
