Cay C. Kauffman Obituary

The passing of Cay C. Kauffman (Ames, Iowa), born in Greencastle, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 97. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Cay may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Henderson; his son Chris; and his siblings, Charles, Courtlandt and Chloe.

He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Kimberly) of Maryville, TN and Kathryn Coulson (Kenneth) of Loveland, CO; his granddaughters, Caitlyn Kauffman and Nicole Seedig (Jason); and his stepsons, Nick Coulson (Karen) and Matt Coulson (Kelly). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
