She is survived by: her parents, Joseph Vogt and Caren Vogt; her children, David, Audrey, Liza, Erin and Joshua; her grandchildren, Eleanor, Daniel and Magnus; her husband John; her children-in-law, Madeline and Andrew; and her brother Joey Vogt (April). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (2900 Hoover Ave, Ames, IA 50010). Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 6:30 PM. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Gilbert Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Martha's House of Hope, the Ghana Christian Family Foundation, or St. Cecilia's Church.
