Carl A. Pelzer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 82, Carl A. Pelzer (Ames, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Carl may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Sr. Pelzer and Cleone Pelzer; his friends, Dave, Jimmy and Gere; his significant other Kathy; his friend Barb White; his son John; and also Nathan. He was also cherished by his sons, daughters-in- law, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (2900 Hoover Ave, Ames, IA 50010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carl's name to St. Cecilia Catholic School or the Boone Area Humane Society.
