He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bill and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Anne K. Buck of Ames; his children, Bruce (Charla), Steven Buck of Ames, IA and Lisa Buck Marino of Ames, IA; his grandchildren, Robby (Marissa) of Glendale, CA and Elisabeth Marino of Ames, IA; and his brother J. Ben Buck (Sarah) of Ames. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Ames Historical Museum.
