He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oster and Priscilla Oster (MacLean); and his siblings, John Oster, Virginia Clark and Karen Paulk.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his stepchildren, Jennifer Skiff of Manitou Springs, CO, Molly Pierce (Richard) and Andy Schnurr (Melissa) of Ankeny; his grandsons, Shane Oster of Colorado Springs, Cody Oster of Colorado Springs, Tyler Oster of Colorado Springs, Dylan Frizzell and Dalton Frizzell of Colorado Springs; his stepgrandchildren, Sophie, Emerson Pierce, Ainsley and Cora Schnurr of Ankeny; his great grandchildren, Quentin of Colorado Springs, Harrison Frizzell of Colorado Springs and Thea Oster of Colorado Springs; and his brother Peter Dors of East Providence.
