With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Sturgis of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Lou Sturgis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Comstock and Iva Comstock (McColly); her husband Edward R. Sturgis; her daughter Patricia Lou Larsen; and her brother Robert Comstock.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Sturgis (Anna) of Waukee and Ronn Sturgis (Sylvia) of Springfield, Oregon; and her son-in-law Steven Larsen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Face masks and social distancing will be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Suncrest Hospice.
